This was the last week of my internship with Blackburn News and 98.1 Free FM. What a summer it has been; I’m truly grateful for the opportunity I was given. This week, I spoke with a Woodstock-based construction company about its plans to redevelop a former London candy factory; I interviewed Minister of National Revenue Kerri-Lynne Findlay about tax rebates for students; I learned about a kidney transplant at University Hospital that made Canadian history; I heard from London’s Manager of Parking and Licensing about the return of overnight parking bans; and I spoke with Museum London about an outdoor walking tour showcasing the city’s murals.
